This was the Most Viewed Online Animation – Austin Visuals Reports
The most-viewed original online animation in 2012 went viral mostly due to the fact that most people didn’t realize it was an animation. A golden eagle snatches a toddler off of the ground. Austin Visuals 3D Animation Studio presents this online animation here:
This short animation clip has been viewed over 41 million time in the two weeks since it first was released. Both the eagle and baby are CG characters. This work was produced as a student exercise by Antoine Seigle, Normand Archambault, and a couple of other students at a Centre based in Montreal.
The success of this Animation reminds us that corporations often remain clueless about what audiences want to view online. YouTube spend $100 million last year in it’s attempt to create niche channels which this animation outperformed the viewership of 76 of those channels. There seems to be an interesting trend corporations will soon be able to capitalize on when it come to online advertising. For now this animation serves as a reminder that anything is visually possible through the efforts of people that have 3D Animation Expertise.
